Laundry Assistant

Premier Work Support are now recruiting for long term temporary Laundry Assistants for one of our clients based in Horsham. There may be an opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our client, in their well established and prestigious laundry business, where you will be supporting the Supervisor with the smooth running of the laundry department.

Responsibilities of a Laundry Assistant will include maintaining a clean working factory environment together with sorting, ironing and packing of clean linen and clothing in preparation for forward delivery.

The operation of laundry equipment will include industrial washing machines, industrial tumble dryers, rotary ironing press and industrial hand steam iron. You will also be required to fold clothing and linen and sort into containers.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Friday 8:00am to 3:30pm/4:00pm.
