Lead Commercial Manager (heavily a procurement role )

Teqniq is searching for a Lead Commercial Manager (heavily a procurement role ) to work in the public sector.

Pay Rate to Candidate: £675 Inside IR35 Umbrella Rate

Minimum Requirement:

1. Commercial and procurement knowledge (use of OJEU procedures, such as Competitive Dialogue)
2. Legal understanding
3. Contract drafting
4. Negotiation
5. Stakeholder management
Run full Procurements - experience of working with Supplier off framework

Responsibilities include developing procurement plans, conducting market analysis, engaging with the market, preparing procurement documentation, negotiating with suppliers, and governance activities
Experience within IT procurement
The successful candidate must take a leading role leading or provide support as required across all activites within the procurement lifecycle
SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
Desirable:
Proficiency in using Jaggaer e-procurement tool, or the ability to learn it quickly.
