Lead Mobile Cleaner

Adecco are please to be recruiting for a Lead Mobile Cleaner to join Cheshire Police.

You will require a clean, full UK drivers licence. Please do not apply for this post if you do not have this.

• Working hours: 37 hours
• Mon - Fri. 6am - 2pm
• Location: The role would be potentially covering all of Cheshire depending on where you live. Main locations: Warrington, Runcorn or Chester areas.
• £12.55 per hour
• Temporary role, with a permanent opportunity for the right candidate

The role: to co-ordinate the day-to-day provision of an effective, professional cleaning service focused on service delivery, providing supervision and guidance to the cleaning team.

Duties/Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, record and deliver service levels in accordance with our service level agreement, liaising with our on site contacts as necessary.
• Provide support, guidance, training and first line supervision for all cleaning staff.
• This is a hands-on role, working with the cleaning team to work with and direct all cleaning staff in their duties ensuring the cleaning schedule is adhered to and targets are achieved to meet our agreement.
• Ensure that the cleaning function is appropriately resourced by managing the rota effectively including arranging suitable cover for sickness and holidays.
• To monitor staff attendance and report to management to maintain records and effectively manage absence
• Report the necessary procurement of new equipment to line manager.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations and company policy to ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff members, visitors, contractors and others.
• Post holder will be required to work with substances controlled under COSHH regulations
• Required to complete deep cleaning using necessary equipment and techniques
• First port of call for emergency, reactive and daily cleaning duties as required
• Report any faults in any equipment or building through the help desk or to your line manager.
• Comprehensive induction of all new starters
• Be able to manage own time effectively as this is a mobile position covering multiple sites across the Cheshire region
• Some weekend working may be required
• The Post will involve elements of manual handling

Skills Required:

• Experience/knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques and the ability to train staff in this area.
• Obligation to adhere to safe working practices and ensure due consideration is given to all users of our sites
• Planning & Organising skills
• Resilience under pressure
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
