Lead .NET Developer - Contract
Warwick based - Hybrid working

I'm currently working with a well-established and fast-growing digital agency that's looking for a talented and experienced Lead .NET Developer to take on a pivotal role within their tech team.

My client delivers innovative digital solutions to major blue-chip clients, and they're now embarking on a complete rebuild of their core digital platform. This is a great opportunity for someone who's not just technically strong, but who also enjoys leading projects, working with clients, and shaping the direction of a product.

The Role

You'll take full ownership of the redevelopment of their main platform - everything from architecture through to deployment. This means reworking and modernising the existing tech stack to create a more scalable, user-friendly solution that meets the needs of large enterprise users.

This is very much a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, so solid client-facing and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Skills needed:

• Strong background in C# / .NET, particularly .NET Core, Web APIs, and modern architectural patterns
• Proven experience leading or mentoring other developers and driving technical decisions
• Knowledge of front-end integration (e.g. JavaScript frameworks, or similar)
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern CI/CD workflows
• Confidence in client-facing environments - gathering requirements, presenting solutions, and building strong working relationships
• A passion for clean, maintainable code and best practices
• Previous experience in a digital agency or consulting environment is highly desirable
