Job Title: Lead Piping Engineer
Location: Deeside, Cheshire
Duration: Ongoing Contract (6+ months)
Pay Rate: £45 per hour (CIS/UMB/LTD)

We are seeking an experienced Piping Design Engineer to join our team in Deeside, Cheshire. This is a contract position, offering a competitive hourly rate of £45. The successful candidate will lead and execute piping design and engineering projects, ensuring technical quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute piping design and engineering projects from design to implementation.
* Apply knowledge of fabrication, installation, and industry standards to design and develop high-quality piping systems.
* Understand and interpret pipe specifications and standards to ensure compliance and reliability of installations.
* Enhance technical quality by specifying requirements for pipework fabrication, testing, erection, and installation.
* Implement cost-effective solutions to reduce project expenses while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Ensure all designs comply with Health & Safety regulations and best practices.

Requirements:
* Proven experience in piping design within industrial or commercial projects.
* Strong understanding of fabrication, installation, and industry standards.
* Ability to develop detailed piping specifications and oversee the engineering process.
* Knowledge of technical quality assurance and compliance requirements.
* Experience in cost reduction strategies without compromising on quality.
* Familiarity with H&S regulations and ability to implement safe working practices.
