Lead Software Engineer

Location: London (hybrid 2 days onsite)

Type: £800+ Per day (12 month Contract)

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer who is experienced within Payment Management and PCM. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of talented engineers, guiding them in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the configurement, scripting, and reporting of software solutions that meet business requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high availability and performance of applications.

Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

Requirements:

Experience in software development, with a strong focus on PCM, swift and Java

Proven experience in a leadership role, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

Solid understanding of payment management and payment messaging.

Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).

Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and microservices architecture is a plus.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
