Learning Support Assistant - Rainham

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our welcoming secondary school community in Rainham. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting students with special educational needs both in specialist SEN settings and within mainstream classrooms.

As a Learning Support Assistant in Rainham, you will play a vital role in providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils across KS3 and KS4, helping to ensure every student has the tools they need to thrive. You will work closely with teaching staff and the SENCo to deliver targeted support and interventions tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist SEN classroom support for students with diverse needs

• Support SEN pupils in both specialist and mainstream environments

• Assist in the planning and delivery of personalised learning activities

• Encourage student participation and independence in lessons

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Position Details:

• Role: Learning Support Assistant

• Location: Secondary School in Rainham

• Start Date: As soon as possible

• Key Stages: KS3 and/or KS4

• Pay: £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience)

• Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time
