Learning Support Assistant

Location: Tower Hamlets - Walking distance from Shadwell Station
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time
Salary: £90-£105 per day (depending on experience)

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets, just a short walk from Shadwell Station, is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their KS1 team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with young learners who benefit from tailored academic and emotional support.

• Join a supportive and welcoming staff team

• Work closely with KS1 pupils to support learning and development

• Gain hands-on classroom experience in a well-resourced environment

• Ongoing training and opportunities for progression

• Convenient transport links via Shadwell Station (DLR and Overground)

• Support KS1 pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis

• Assist the class teacher in delivering learning activities

• Adapt materials and approaches to meet individual learning needs

• Encourage confidence, independence, and participation

• Monitor progress and provide feedback to the teaching team

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting (KS1 preferred)

• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive attitude and strong sense of responsibility

• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
