Learning Support Assistant

A primary school in Enfield is seeking a confident Learning Support Assistant to work with Key Stage 2 pupils displaying challenging behaviour. The Learning Support Assistant will support pupils both in and out of class, delivering behaviour-based interventions and academic catch-up support. This Learning Support Assistant role requires someone patient, resilient, and emotionally intelligent.

The Learning Support Assistant will be working closely with the SENCO and classroom teachers to develop strategies that support pupil progress. Experience supporting children with SEMH, ADHD or Autism is preferred. The Learning Support Assistant must be able to build rapport quickly and maintain clear boundaries.
