Salary: £85 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only

About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll support students both in the classroom and in small-group or one-to-one settings. You'll help learners with a range of academic, behavioural, and emotional needs stay on track and fully engage in their education and training. This role is ideal for individuals considering careers in education, psychology, or youth work.

Responsibilities:
Work with students aged 11-18 across various subjects and ability levels in Croydon

Support learners with special educational needs, including those with EHCPs

Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to deliver effective support strategies

Help create an inclusive learning environment and promote progress in education

Maintain a professional and supportive presence in and outside the classroom

Requirements:
Previous experience in a school or youth setting is desirable

A genuine interest in helping students succeed in their education and training

Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills

A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Ability to commute to Croydon daily
