Horizon Teachers are currently working with an Ofsted good rated Infant School in Tower Hamlets who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work closely with a child within their Year 1 class that has mild learning difficulties and challenging behaviour,

The student requires close 1:1 support to help manage their behaviour within class and to keep them engaged within lessons. The school has great transport links and the staff are dedicated to creating a great learning environment for the children.

The role is starting ASAP or in September, and will be on a full-time basis until July 2026. This will be a very rewarding role for the right person and will pay up to £575 per week.

What the school are looking for in their Learning Support Assistants:

• Previous experience supporting children within a Nursery or School setting.
• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs is very desirable.
• Confident working 1:1 and within small groups of children
• Be able to assist the class teacher with classroom preparation
