SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting for a number of Learning Support Assistants to work across our wonderful primary schools in Waltham Forest.

We have a number of long-term, full-time roles coming through and are looking for experienced, reliable candidates who are interested in long-term roles to get in touch!

As a learning support assistant, you will:

• Providing tailored 1:1 or small group support to pupils with Autism

• Support the implementation of Educational Health care Plans
• Support the implementation of behaviour strategies
• Using alternative communication methods to develop language and interaction skills
• Create a supportive, inclusive learning environment that encourages social interaction and confidence
• Maintain clear communication with parents and carers, providing updates on pupil progress

About You:

• Experience working with children with Autism or other special needs/complex needs
• Understanding of non-verbal communication methods and supportive strategies
• Confidence in managing challenging behaviour with a calm and adaptable approach
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Patience, empathy, and a strong passion for helping children with special needs thrive
