Learning Support Assistant - Specialist SEMH Provision

Tradewind is working in partnership to recruit a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEMH-accredited provision in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. The role involve supporting pupils aged 9-16 with Education, Health & Care Plans and offering personalised classroom, therapeutic, and vocational support.

Key Responsibilities - Learning Support Assistant:

• Deliver 1:1 or small-group interventions for pupils with SEMH needs.

• Help adapt lessons and resources to align with a broad, inclusive curriculum.

• Monitor and report on pupil progress, attend reintegration meetings, and support behaviour tracking.

• Assist therapeutic or vocational staff in classroom or workshop environments.

• A compassionate, adaptable and resilient characteristic to working with pupils with SEMH related needs

The role begins in September 2025, with the school seeking a member of staff on a long-term basis with an outlook to permanent employment. Professionals with previous experience supporting SEMH or SEN students is desirable, those with extensive experience in schools are encouraged to apply!
