Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Middleton, Greater Manchester
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Start Date: ASAP (or negotiable)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary/special/secondary school in the Middleton area. You will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide targeted support to students with a range of learning needs.

This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday) and an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in education or further develop their skills in a rewarding and inclusive school environment.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils

• Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

• Support the class teacher with classroom management and lesson preparation

• Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

• Monitor and record student progress and report to relevant staff

• Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred but not essential)

• A patient, caring, and proactive attitude

• A genuine passion for supporting learning and development
