Learning Support Assistant LSA

As a specialist education agency supporting secondary schools across Putney, Tradewind Recruitment are looking for enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) ready to join us this September for the new academic year.

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with SEND in mainstream secondary classes.

• Assist with personal care, including feeding, toileting, or medical routines (training in hoisting or suctioning may be required)

• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and families to support students' learning, behaviour, and well-being.

• Help students access the curriculum, build independence, and boost confidence.

• Compassionate, patient, and resilient individuals experienced or keen to support secondary-aged students.

• Comfortable assisting with personal care needs during school hours.

• Strong communicators and team-players, adaptable to diverse learning needs .

• Ideally holding a TA qualification (Level 2/3) or willing to work towards one.

• Competitive daily pay (typically £90-£110), depending on experience

• Full-time, term-time roles in Putney secondary schools.

• Ongoing training, SEND-specific CPD, and hands-on support from SENCOs.

• Efficient DBS processing and agency-led support for placements.
