A fantastic and creative Secondary School in Waltham Forest is seeking a Learning Support Assistant - Secondary to join their team from September 2025! This is a Long-Term and Full-Time role for at least the full academic year.

This Selly Oak Secondary School pride themselves on supporting students throughout their education across KS3 to KS5 and is seeking a Learning Support Assistant - Secondary who is keen to pursue a career supporting younger people with their education.

Within this Learning Support Assistant - Secondary role, you will be helping Teachers to relay subject material to students across all core areas of the curriculum whilst supporting students across the school. This role will involve working with students with SEND/SEMH needs in groups and on a 1:1 basis.

• Working with students across Year 7 to Year 13 in all core subjects
• Collaborating with Teachers to provide all pupils with the support they need

ROLE DETAILS

• Based in Waltham Forest
• Monday - Friday, Term-Time only
• Long-Term and Full-Time role
• Term-Time only
• 8am - 4pm
• September 2025 Start
• £105 - £110 per day

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• An outgoing and confident graduate with desire to improve the learning experience of all students
• Previous experience working with children, including those with SEND/SEMH needs
• An individual with strong academics across the board including a 2:1 or 1st Class Degree
