Level 2 Early Years Practitioner

This primary school is a popular and well-established two-form entry school with a nursery, located in Sedgley, Dudley. With over 500 pupils on roll, the school is known for its nurturing and inclusive environment, where children are supported to enjoy learning and thrive both academically and socially.

The school is currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to join the team in September.

This role will involve:

• Providing classroom support within the Early Years setting
• Leading small group activities with pre-school children to support early development
• Assisting with the preparation of snacks and lunches, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment
• Supporting children's social, emotional, and physical development
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team

What you'll need to succeed

• Level 2 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting
• A nurturing and patient approach to working with young children
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of safeguarding and child development

What you'll get in return
