Level 2 Nursery Assistant

• Hourly Rate: £14.18
• Location: Morecambe
• Job Type: Part-time (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm)

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner with a Level 2 or equivalent qualification in childcare. This role is ideal for someone with a good understanding of the development matters and EYFS framework. Experience in a nursery setting is preferential. This position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive team, focusing on providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children.

• Engage with children in a variety of educational and play activities, following the EYFS framework.
• Monitor and support the development of children, ensuring activities are suited to their individual needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting environment for children.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and coordinate activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their children’s progress and daily activities.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery.

• Level 2 or equivalent qualification in childcare.
• Good understanding of the development matters and EYFS framework.
• Preferably with experience working in a nursery setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Passionate about working with children and contributing to their developmental progress.
