Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Start Date: September 2025

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Formby starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children's learning in a nurturing and supportive environment.

• Support the class teacher in the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Assist pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis to aid their learning.
• Help create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor and track pupil progress under the guidance of teaching staff.
• Promote positive behaviour and inclusion across the classroom.

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Have recent experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Be caring, patient, and proactive.
• Be confident supporting children with a range of needs.
• Work well independently and as part of a team.
