Level 2 Teaching Assistant

The school is seeking a passionate and skilled Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the team from September. You will work closely with class teachers to support learning across the school, with a particular focus on:

• Delivering phonics and English interventions
• Supporting small groups of children with additional needs
• Providing general classroom support and assisting with learning activities
• Helping to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

What you'll need to succeed

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working in a primary school setting
• Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy strategies
• A caring and patient approach to supporting children with additional needs
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
