Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Primary school - Doncaster

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis across primary schools in Doncaster. Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Flexible supply work - day-to-day and longer-term roles available
Pay: Competitive daily rates (dependent on experience)

About the Role: As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will support class teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences to pupils in EY, KS1, and KS2. Your duties will include assisting with lesson delivery and classroom activities, providing targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, encouraging pupil engagement and managing behaviour, and helping create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• Experience working within EYFS, KS1 or KS2 in a primary school setting

• A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in supporting children's learning

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

• Flexibility and reliability to travel to different schools in the Doncaster area
