Level 2 Teaching Assistant - SEMH

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking Level 2 Teaching Assistants who have experience in working with young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) from KS1-KS3.

You should have experience of assisting young people in a classroom environment as well as be able to implement agreed behaviour management strategies consistently and effectively. NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent are essential. We are seeking those who are available for both daily supply and long-term opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting students in both group and 1:1 settings

Assisting with classroom management and lesson preparation

Delivering targeted interventions and differentiated learning activities

Promoting inclusion and encouraging independence

Essential:

Experience working in a Special Needs School (6 months minimum preferred)

Experience supporting with challenging behaviours
