Level 3 Nursery Nurse - Supply - Leeds

Randstad Education is seeking a passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our dedicated team for flexible supply work in Leeds.

This is your chance to play a pivotal role in the lives of young children, guiding them through the crucial Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). As a supply Nursery Nurse, you'll enjoy the variety of working in different nursery settings across Leeds, bringing your professional skills and nurturing energy to each one.

What you will be doing:

• Playing a key role in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities that follow the EYFS curriculum.

• Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive and learn through play.

• Leading small group activities and taking initiative in the daily routines of the nursery.

• Building positive and trusted relationships with children, parents, and staff, providing feedback on a child's development.

• Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress, contributing to their learning journals.

What we are looking for:

• A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (e.g., NNEB, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3).

• Previous experience working as a Nursery Nurse or in a similar early years role.

• A thorough and practical understanding of the EYFS framework.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

• A patient, creative, and enthusiastic approach to childcare.

• An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or a willingness to apply for one).
