Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team from September. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working with class teachers to provide high-quality education and ensuring that all pupils are engaged, challenged, and supported in their development.

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and learning activities.

• Lead small group interventions and provide 1:1 support for pupils where needed.

• Assist with the planning, preparation, and organisation of learning resources.

• Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to promote an inclusive learning environment.

• Support children's social, emotional, and behavioural development.

• Contribute to assessing, recording, and monitoring pupils' progress.

• Supervise pupils during non-teaching times as required (e.g., playtimes, lunchtimes, school trips).

• Uphold safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all pupils.

Essential:

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

• Experience of working within a primary school setting.

• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and strategies for supporting learning.

• Ability to motivate and inspire children of all abilities.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to teamwork and professional development.
