Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer – 3-6 months + – Remote Working – Full Time – Midlands

Position: Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer

Organisation: Midlands based Local Authority

Duration: 3-6 months +

Working Pattern: Full Time

Working Arrangement: Fully Remote Working can be considered for this position (except from IT collection)

Hourly Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella, dependent on experience

The ideal candidate will have at experience in handling Adult Social Care matters and can demonstrate prior experience working on behalf of Local Authorities.

Duties may include:

• Undertake all aspects of legal work relating to Adult Social Care Legislation, including, but not limited to, Court of Protection, Section 21a, Section 16 and Designation matters
• Liaise and work collaboratively with other legal representatives
• To prepare and manage a varied caseload in relation to all aspects of Adult Social Care matters
• Represent the Council in court and may need to conduct advocacy when required
