Location: Derbyshire
Duration: 3-month rolling contract with potential for extension
Schedule: Monday – Sunday, 37.5 hours per week (24/7 rota)

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Biochemistry Biomedical Scientist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic services in a busy laboratory setting. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting a range of biochemistry laboratory tests
• Preparing and analysing blood and urine samples for diagnostic purposes
• Performing tests on various substances, including blood glucose, cholesterol, and electrolytes
• Ensuring high standards in lab procedures and compliance with regulations
• Supporting quality control initiatives
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care

Requirements & Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:

• HCPC Registration as a Biomedical Scientist
• IBMS Accredited Degree
• 1-2 years of experience in a Biochemistry laboratory
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong commitment to high-quality laboratory services
• Full right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
The role operates Monday to Sunday, 37.5 hours per week, across a 24/7 rota pattern. The contract will last for an initial 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
