Locum Commercial Property Lawyer – £60 per hour – Hybrid Working – East Midlands

Venn Group’s Legal team is pleased to present an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to join a progressive local authority on a three-month locum contract, with the potential for extension.

The role requires a minimum of 25 hours per week, preferably worked over 5 days, though the client can offer flexibility with hours and working pattern.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial property law, with particular experience acting for local authorities. You should be confident managing a busy and varied caseload involving both freehold and leasehold land transactions.

Caseload Details:

• Work will include land disposals and acquisitions, as well as advising on commercial landlord and tenant matters—some of which may relate to school sites and vesting declarations.
• This is a hybrid role, but occasional office attendance will be required to carry out legal completions, inspect deeds, and undertake other office-based tasks.
