Locum Employment Lawyer – Predominantly Remote Working – Full Time – Up to £55 per hour Umbrella – East of England – 3 months +

Position: Locum Employment Lawyer

Organisation: East of England based Local Authority

Duration: 3 months + with the possibility of extension thereafter

Working Pattern: Full-time

Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote, occasional attendance for Tribunals required

Hourly Rate: Up to £55 per hour Umbrella

The ideal candidate will have experience in handling in Employment Law matters and can demonstrate prior experience working on behalf of Local Authorities.

Duties may include:

• Conducting a high standard of Employment work and have TUPE knowledge
• Providing advice to Senior Managers in Council departments and other Officers and staff in HR on a wide range of employment law issues and claims made against the Authority
• Conducting a caseload which may include claims relating to Sex discrimination, Race Discrimination, Unfair Dismissal, Constructive Dismissal, Disability Discrimination, Age Discrimination and Redundancy
• Drafting ET3’s and defending Equal Pay Claims, Whistle Blowing Claims and Disability Claims
