Job Title: Locum Family Solicitor
Contract Length: 3 Month Temporary Contract (with potential to extend)
Location: Stafford
Hourly Rate: Competitive, based on experience
Working pattern: Hybrid

• Managing a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, cohabitation disputes, and private children matters.
• Advising high-net-worth clients on sensitive and complex family law issues with discretion and professionalism.
• Drafting key legal documents including consent orders, financial remedy applications, parenting agreements, and statements.
• Representing clients in court hearings and during negotiations or mediation where necessary.
• Liaising with Counsel, experts, and third parties to progress cases effectively and efficiently.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards at all times.
• Providing support to other fee earners in the family law team where required.

• Minimum 5 years PQE, with a strong background in family law.
• Proven track record in handling complex divorce and financial remedy cases.
• Experience working with high-profile or high-net-worth clients.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong advocacy, negotiation, and client-care skills.
