Job Title: Histology Associate Practitioner Band 4
Location: Somerset
Duration: 3-month rolling contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Histology Associate Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing efficient and accurate diagnostic services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and processing tissue samples for analysis
• Assisting in microtomy, embedding, and staining techniques
• Maintaining high laboratory standards and ensuring proper sample handling
• Supporting senior staff in meeting regulatory requirements
• Contributing to quality control processes and laboratory procedures
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience in Histology, including microtomy, embedding, and staining
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and specimen handling techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of laboratory practice
• Full right to work in the UK (we cannot offer sponsorship)

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
The role operates Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility available if needed. The initial contract is 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and service requirements.
