Duration: 3 month rolling contract
Schedule: Monday – Sunday, 37.5 hours p/w

What You’ll Be Doing
Join our team as a Microbiology Biomedical Scientist and help provide excellent diagnostic services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing a variety of microbiology laboratory tests, including culture and identification

• Assisting in the preparation and analysis of samples for diagnostic purposes

• Conducting antimicrobial susceptibility testing and PCR analysis

• Maintaining high standards of laboratory procedures and ensuring compliance with all regulations

• Supporting the development and implementation of quality control measures

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient care

Requirements & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:

• HCPC Registration as a Biomedical Scientist

• IBMS Accredited Degree

• At least 1 - 2 years of experience in a Microbiology laboratory

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient laboratory services

• Full right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)

Working Hours & Contract Duration
This role requires availability from Monday to Sunday, 37.5 hours per week. The contract is running up until October/November, with the potential for renewal depending on performance and service needs.
