Locum NMP Needed - Substance Misuse Role Near Leeds - High-Paying, Weekday Contract!

Job Title: Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) – RMN
Location: Leeds (on-site, with free parking available)
Service Type: Private Drug & Alcohol Recovery Service
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £45 – £50 per hour (paid via umbrella)

Join a multi-disciplinary substance misuse team where you will:

• Initiate and review opiate substitute treatments (methadone, buprenorphine)

• Conduct risk assessments, care planning, and reviews

• Prescribe safely and monitor treatment responses

• Collaborate closely with recovery workers, MDT members, and safeguarding teams

• Ensure accurate clinical record-keeping and reporting

To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

• NMC registration as an RMN with Independent Prescribing (V300)

• Experience working within substance misuse or addictions services

• Ability to work autonomously and manage complex caseloads

• Confidence in prescribing and medication management in drug and alcohol treatment settings

• Full-time, Mon – Fri (9 – 5)

• Initial 3-month contract with potential for ongoing extension

• Stable caseload with excellent clinical support
