Locum Residential Property Solicitor

We have an excellent opportunity for a Locum Residential Property Solicitor or Legal Executive to assist within a friendly firm in West Sussex, starting mid-July for 1 month +.

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a friendly, high-street firm to source a Locum Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Fee Earner to start from mid-July for 1 month + covering a gap until a permanent person starts.

The ideal locum will be looking to assist 5 days per week. The firm require office attendance at least 4 days per week, with 1 day working remotely. The firm offers free car parking on-site, and it's within commutable distance to the nearest station.

Responsibilities

The successful Locum will manage a busy caseload consisting of residential property matters. They will benefit from dedicated secretarial support in the team. Duties to include:

• Sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties
• Re-mortgages
• Equity Release
• Help-to-Buy
• Shared ownership
• Transfer of equity
• New builds

Requirements

• At least 6 years' experience as a Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Fee Earner
• Experience handling busy caseloads of residential property matters
• Ability to work self-sufficiently and hit the ground running in a locum role
