Logistics Administrator

For a leading staffing company, we are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our client's team. This role is essential in managing the logistical and administrative tasks necessary for the accurate, safe, and traceable movement of dairy food products. The position involves supporting trading directors, handling customer requests, and ensuring efficient coordination with transport companies. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the CMP database and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. This is an entry-level position with a six-month contract, offering an opportunity to gain valuable experience in logistics and supply chain management

• Exposure to industry-standard practices in food safety and quality assurance
• Collaboration with experienced professionals in the logistics field
• Access to CMP internal systems for professional development

• Support trading directors in completing orders and handling customer requests efficiently
• Create and update purchase and sales orders in the CMP database accurately
• Coordinate with approved transport companies to ensure timely collections and deliveries
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and customers to manage stock availability
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and report any non-conformances

• Proficiency in using CMP internal system: SLAM for database management
• Familiarity with the trading supply chain from producer to end user
• Attention to detail in maintaining relevant paperwork and documentation
• HACCP Level 3 certification for food safety management
• Completion of a Dairy Science course from an external provider
