LOGISTICS OPERATIVE

Pertemps Milton Keynes branch is currently recruiting a Warehouse Logistics Operative for our client based in Milton Keynes.

4 X 10-hour shifts per week £13.75ph Ongoing Work

The Role:
Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently and safely handle the movement of items within the warehouse environment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

• Safely load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse and transport areas
• Carry out cleaning and preparation tasks to maintain high hygiene standards
• Support general housekeeping duties to keep the workspace clean and organised
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including correct use of equipment and PPE
• Maintain a tidy and obstruction-free environment to ensure efficient workflow
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and meet daily targets

As a Warehouse Logistics Operative, you play a vital role in the efficient functioning of the warehouse & Transport operations. Your dedication to safety, accuracy, and teamwork ensures the timely movement of goods and contributes to the overall success of the organisation.

• Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy items
• Previous experience in a similar role and environment preferred
• Numeracy skills for counting, sorting, and recording stock
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude
