What you'll do:

* Assist in the meticulous planning, execution, and oversight of migrating Exchange 2016 mailboxes and associated services to Exchange Online within the Microsoft 365 suite, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption for users throughout the process.
* Configure and deploy Intune for mobile devices within a bring-your-own-device framework by establishing robust security policies, compliance standards, and providing responsive support to end users.
* Facilitate the integration of Microsoft 365 Copilot into daily workflows to enhance productivity across teams by identifying pertinent use cases and supporting adoption within the organisation.
* Leverage Azure OpenAI services to develop AI-driven solutions that optimise IT operations and align with strategic business objectives.
* Provide expert-level support for on-premise platforms including Exchange 2016, VMware, Active Directory, Mimecast, Blackberry Work, and Enterprise Vault by managing performance, resolving issues efficiently, and implementing improvements where necessary.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across departments to ensure the smooth implementation of new technologies and effective communication during transitional periods.
* Diagnose complex technical challenges promptly using advanced diagnostic skills while maintaining comprehensive documentation of resolutions for future reference.
* Contribute to project management activities by monitoring progress against established milestones, coordinating resources judiciously, and ensuring timely delivery of key objectives.
* Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices related to hybrid infrastructure management and proactively recommend enhancements where appropriate.

What you bring:

* Demonstrable experience in successfully migrating enterprise-scale email systems from on-premise Exchange 2016 environments to Exchange Online within Microsoft 365.
* Comprehensive knowledge regarding the configuration of Intune for mobile device management in bring-your-own-device settings including policy creation and enforcement of security compliance.
* Practical expertise in integrating Microsoft 365 Copilot into organisational workflows to improve efficiency and foster collaboration among diverse teams.
* Proven capability in utilising Azure OpenAI services or comparable AI platforms to deliver pragmatic solutions that enhance IT operations or business processes.
* Thorough familiarity with managing on-premise infrastructure components such as VMware virtualisation platforms, Active Directory domain services, Mimecast email security gateways, Blackberry Work mobility tools, and Enterprise Vault archiving systems.
* Exceptional diagnostic acumen enabling prompt identification and resolution of complex technical issues under time-sensitive conditions whilst maintaining detailed documentation practices.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills facilitating effective interaction with both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders across departments.
* Experience contributing to or overseeing IT projects involving multiple teams or business units with an emphasis on meeting deadlines and achieving shared objectives.
