M365 Migration Engineer

M365 Migration Engineer – Fully Remote – 6 Week Contract – Outside of IR35

My Customer is seeking an experienced M365 Migration Engineer to support their team in the migration of their M365 environment from a single global tenant to three regional tenants. The initial migration work will be conducted by a third-party provider, and the successful candidate will join the team to support the remaining migration tasks and ensure a seamless transition.

The M365 Migration Engineer’s primary role will include Reconfiguring and migrating applications from one tenant to another, ensuring minimal downtime and business disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the migration of M365 services from one global tenant to three regional tenants.
• Support and troubleshoot migration-related issues across Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, email accounts, and other M365 services.
• Reconfigure and migrate applications from one tenant to another, ensuring minimal downtime and business disruption.
• Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to execute migration plans effectively.
• Manage Azure and Entra ID configurations to support the migration and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Perform post-migration validation and troubleshooting to confirm successful transitions.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices for tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Outside of IR35

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience with tenant-to-tenant M365 migrations, including Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and email accounts.
• Strong experience with Azure and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
• Experience reconfiguring and migrating applications between M365 tenants.
• Hands-on experience with M365 security, compliance settings, and access management.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and third-party vendors.

The M365 Migration Engineer allows a fully remote working pattern, and the contract will fall Outside of IR35.
