Machine Operative

The Company:

MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Birtley area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.

The Role:

• Set up and operate printing presses, including Heidelberg XL75-5 and Ricoh 8100 digital presses, to produce high-quality printed materials.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain optimal performance and quality standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure their longevity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and client specifications.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

The Person:

• Proven experience in operating printing machinery, preferably in a commercial print environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues promptly.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
