Position: Pick & Place Machinist (Surface Mount Technician)
Type: Temp to Perm
Salary: £18 per hour (Up to £38,000 per annum) depending on experience

Key Qualifications:

• Experience with Pick & Place Machines: Proven experience operating and programming pick & place machines.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of electronic components and assembly processes.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented, ensuring high accuracy in component placement.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery and assembly processes.
• Fast-Paced Environment: Self-starter who can hit the ground running and contribute immediately.
• Team Collaboration: Team player who values collaboration and open communication.

Responsibilities:

• Operating and programming pick & place machines to assemble electronic components.
• Ensuring accurate placement of components on PCBs.
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of pick & place machinery.
• Inspecting and verifying the quality of assembled boards.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed.
• Contributing to a positive and productive team environment.
