Client: BAE Systems
Location: Barrow-in-Furness (4 days on-site)
Contract: 12 months, 37 hrs per week
Hourly Rate: £21.45 PAYE or £28.72 UMBRELLA (Inside IR35)
Clearance: BPSS + SC

Overview:

BAE Systems Submarines is hiring a Facilities Maintenance & Compliance Coordinator to support the safe and efficient delivery of third-party maintenance across the Barrow site. You’ll manage work orders in SAP, review contractor RAMS, and ensure compliance with site safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage planned/reactive maintenance via SAP EAM
Review and approve contractor RAMS before work begins
Act as Responsible Person (RP) for on-site works
Coordinate site access and supervise third-party contractors
Ensure safe systems of work (SSOW) are followed
Support asset validation and continuous improvement

Essential Skills:

Strong RAMS experience and understanding of SSOW
Able to coach others on SAP processes
Confident communicator with H&S awareness
Experience in facilities, maintenance, or asset management
Health & Safety qualifications desirable
