Job Title: General Maintenance Operative
Location: Grove, Wantage, Oxfordshire
Dates: Monday 11th August – Friday 22nd August (Weekdays only)
Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8 hours per day)
Duration: 10 working days

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on General Maintenance Operative to assist with a short-term project involving the dismantling and rebuilding of approximately 170 desks. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dismantling existing desks and safely storing components
• Rebuilding desks according to provided layouts or instructions
• Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and safe
• Reporting any issues or damages to the supervisor

Requirements:

• Previous experience in general maintenance or manual handling preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Good time management and reliability
• Safety-conscious with a proactive attitude
