Maintenance Electrician

Your new company
You will be working for a leading FM company working on one of their client sites in Exeter.

Your new role

As a maintenance electrician, your role will involve duties to include:

* Removing/installing lighting
* Removing/installing electrical sockets
* Ensure RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to always ensure safe working practises
* All reactive tasks throughout the building are completed, proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made
* Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractor works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance/fixes, keeping them honest. Ensuring permits and RAMS are adhered to
* To develop a good working relationship with all members of the CBRE team, subcontractors, and client's staff
* Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment is met, including the wearing of uniform and appropriate PPE always. To ensure compliance with all CBRE and client policies and procedures
* Ensure a professional image of CBRE to the client, and visitors, and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and always promoted
* Ensure all storages area are maintained and kept safe and tidy
* Undertake lone working where required
* Undertake other tasks directed by the account management team

What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a formal electrical qualification (NVQ / AM2) and your 18th edition.
You will have good communication and be a team player who is able to multitask and prioritise workload
Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service
Calm manner, able to work under pressure and make sound decisions when needed
Physically fit and able to carry tools and components by hand up to 20kg
Able to work at heights
Obtain full Security Clearance.

What you'll get in return
£24 p/h umbrella - 2 year contract
