Maintenance Electrician

Location: Exeter EX1

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: £24.00ph paid weekly via umbrella

Duration: Ongoing Contract - Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities

• Removing/installing lighting
• Removing/installing electrical sockets
• Ensure RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to always ensure safe working practises
• All reactive tasks throughout the building are completed, proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made
• Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractor works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance/fixes, keeping them honest. Ensuring permits and RAMS are adhered to
• To develop a good working relationship with all members of the team, subcontractors, and client’s staff
• Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment is met, including the wearing of uniform and appropriate PPE always. To ensure compliance with all client policies and procedures
• Ensure all storage areas are maintained and kept safe and tidy
• Undertake lone working where required
• Undertake other tasks directed by the account management team

Person Specification

• Formal electrical qualification,
• BS7671 18th edition regulations

• Able to work at heights
• Obtain full Security Clearance.
