Maintenance Electrician

Randstad Construction & Property are working on behalf of a National Facilities Management company to find an experienced and collaborative Maintenance Electrician to join their team based in Newcastle

This position is starting ASAP and would be a temporary ongoing opportunity, which could lead to becoming permanent for the right candidate

Location: Newcastle

Salary: £20.27 - £23.47 per hour

Key benefits:

• Monday-Friday working (40 hours per week)
• 08:00 - 16:00

An average day will include the following:

• Carrying out general tasks and electrical PPMs
• Must have experience in carrying out fixed wire testing
• Emergency lighting testing
• Monitoring the BMS system
• Finding faults and reactive work when required
• Complying with health and safety legislation/policies
• Providing a quality service to customers and contract holders

An ideal candidate will have:

• 18th Edition
• Level 3 NVQ
• Experience of working within FM or the building maintenance industry

An ideal candidate will be:

• Able to understand complex information and demonstrate attention to detail
• Remain professional and communicate strongly
• A can-do attitude
• Happy to carry out maintenance on a static site and pkay with City Parking
