Maintenance Electrician (Rewiring)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Pay: £23.00 - £24.00 per hour (paid weekly)

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our In-House Repairs Team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a busy, supportive team carrying out a wide range of electrical installations and testing works across both occupied and vacant housing stock within the district.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out all electrical works to the required standard in line with current regulations and manufacturer instructions.
• Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and within agreed timescales.
• Work closely with the Asset Management Support Team to ensure jobs are scheduled and completed effectively.
• Use all tools, equipment, and materials responsibly and safely.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety at all times.

Essential Criteria:

• Full UK driving licence and own transport covered by business insurance.
• Able to provide two years of references, including one from your most recent employer.
• Previous re-wiring experience is highly desirable.

Training Requirements:

Candidates must hold up-to-date certification in the following areas:

• Working at Height
• Manual Handling
• Asbestos Awareness
• COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
