You will oversee the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both students and staff.

Day-to-day of the role:

Oversee and manage the maintenance and repair of school buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs.

Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, including training and performance evaluations.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and school policies.

Manage maintenance budgets and maintain records of all maintenance activities.

Respond to emergency maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Collaborate with school administration and other departments to address maintenance needs and priorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in maintenance or related field preferred.

Proven experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in an educational setting.

Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
