Position Details:

• Contract Type: Temporary
• Location: 3M Aycliffe
• Pay Rate: £21.96 per hour
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm
• Duration: 6 months, with potential for ongoing work
• Start Date: June 2nd

About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our site machinery running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned maintenance on site machinery
• Diagnosing faults and performing repair work
• optimising machine performance while adhering to safety and quality standards

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in engineering within a manufacturing process, particularly with:

• PLCs
• Injection moulding
• Web handling
• High-speed packaging

Your Skills and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective time management capabilities
• Experience in planned and reactive maintenance
• A disciplined approach to either electrical or mechanical engineering

Education Requirements:
You should have an NVQ, ONC, HNC, or an equivalent qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
