Maintenance Technician

Our client are looking for a Junior Maintenance Technician to support the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone technically minded, proactive, and ready to grow with a dynamic team.

??? What You’ll Be Doing

Carrying out regular inspections of our lab and office facilities.

Performing basic repairs and preventative maintenance on scientific and industrial equipment.

Responding quickly to maintenance requests and unexpected issues.

Coordinating with contractors and monitoring external service work.

Supporting the design and setup of new lab and office spaces.

Ensuring safety systems are functional and hazards are addressed promptly.

Maintaining inventory of tools and supplies.

Helping implement sustainability initiatives across our operations.

?? Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with hands-on mechanical or technical experience—whether that’s from amateur motor racing, bicycle repair, classic car restoration, or similar practical fields. You’ll be comfortable using tools, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Experience maintaining and troubleshooting scientific or industrial equipment.

Basic electrical fault-finding and pipework knowledge.

Trade qualification in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical maintenance.
