Role: Managed Services Procurement Manager
Location: Burgess Hill - Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Pay: £300 - £375 per day (PAYE) OR £397.91 - £497.38 per day (UMB)

Contract: 12-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Managed Services Procurement Manager in laboratory and diagnostics to join one of our established clients, a highly regarded organisation operating within the healthcare sector, on a 12-month contract. This hybrid role is based in Burgess Hill, with two days per week required on-site.

The Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience within a strategic procurement role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build relationships across all levels
• Commercial awareness with strong negotiation and influencing abilities
• Financial acumen and ability to carry out spend and market analysis
• Proven ability to coach others and lead change initiatives successfully
• Confident, resilient, and adaptable with a proactive mindset
• Experience in the laboratory, healthcare or diagnostics industry is very advantageous
• University degree (preferred, not essential) - ideally in Procurement or Supply Chain
• MCIPS qualified or working towards MCIPS (preferred)
• Fluent English (additional languages advantageous)

The Role:

• Develop and implement category strategies to support managed services and diagnostic solutions
• Lead "source to contract" processes ensuring best value, service quality, and compliance with global and local standards
• Oversee supplier relationship and performance management to drive improvements and innovation
• Identify new products, services, and solutions to enhance end-user experience
• Negotiate and secure robust contracts with defined SLAs and KPIs
• Carry out spend analysis, forecasting, and risk assessments to support commercial decisions
• Ensure adherence to compliance, ethics, and safety standards across procurement activity
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategy with business objectives
• Drive process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives
