Management Accountant – Colindale (Hybrid)
12–18 Month Contract (Potential for Permanent)
£45,000 – £55,000 per annum

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join a dynamic and collaborative finance team in Colindale. This is a 12–18 month fixed-term contract with strong potential to become a permanent role in the future for the right candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled finance professional to play a key role in delivering high-quality financial and management reporting across a growing organisation. You’ll work closely with the Senior Management Accountant and Head of Finance, helping to guide key decisions with accurate, timely insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
Maintaining the fixed asset register and ensuring a smooth month-end close
Assisting with year-end and audit preparation
Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
Ensuring robust financial controls and best practice systems are in place
Financial analysis including producing insightful MI and KPIs to support decision-making
Contributing to annual budget preparation and monitoring
Assisting with cash flow forecasting and ensuring liquidity
Monitoring and reconciling bank accounts and credit control activity
Providing guidance to junior finance staff
Acting as a finance point of contact for day-to-day queries
Engaging in internal audits and compliance reviews

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified or finalist (CIMA/ACCA) with 5+ years of experience in finance roles
Strong background in management and financial accounting
Advanced Excel skills, experience with accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset
Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong communicator who works well with non-financial teams
